Ombudsman

ESPN has an ombudsman and I had no idea what an Ombudsman was. For anyone else who is interested, an ombudsman is a person who acts as a trusted intermediary between an organization and some internal or external constituency while representing the broad scope of constituent interests.

From what I gathered, ESPN pays an individual to address the issues that ESPN customers have with ESPN. Ombudsman are also prevalent on college campuses where they address the interests of the student body as a paid employee of the university.
